2006 Chardonnay, Napa Valley, Bella Vista Vineyard
Vineyard notes:
Bella Vista Vineyard is located near the Petrified Forest in the hills
at the northern end of Napa Valley near the Napa Sonoma border.
The soil is volcanic ash.
Production notes:
This wine was barrel fermented and aged on the lees in small oak
cooperage from the heart of Burgundy. Malolactic fermentation
was complete, producing a rich mouth feel with notes of vanilla.
